apply_collection_variant_proposals(summary, proposals)

Write globally unambiguous file-collection rename suggestions into a summary.

A parameter group that drew more than one proposal is skipped, since its collections disagree about which shared label to use.

Parameters:

• summary (pandas.DataFrame) – The summary to annotate, modified in place.

• proposals (dict) – Proposals from analyze_collection_variant_consistency().

Returns:

The summary, with RenameEntitySet filled in and ManualCheck and Notes flagged for each proposal that was applied.

Return type:

pandas.DataFrame
